The Phoenix Festival is a celebration that truly brings the community together... Which is exactly why Lit Fibre just had to be there!
A blend of music, rides, great games, and amazing food – this festival has become a staple event in the heart of Cirencester that attracts both the locals and visitors from afar. Celebrated over the final weekend in August, not even the rain could dampen the spirit of Phoenix.
We made sure we didn’t miss the fabulous festival and were there not only to enjoy the music, but to also share the great news of our ultrafast full-fibre service being available in Cirencester. What a way to share the great news, right? Let’s not forget the great music from Madonna and Ed Sheeran (you LITerally couldn’t tell the difference), that our team were singing their hearts out to. We were also on hand to talk all things full-fibre with both new and existing customers – plus everyone that came to say hello received a little Lit Fibre token of appreciation.
One of the most heartwarming aspects of the festival has got to be the local talent that performed in front of almost 15,000 people. The sense of community pride along with all the local sponsors and vendors makes this more than just another festival. Our promise to support the local communities is at the heart of what we do. The icing on the cake was our partnership with Cirencester Foodbank which allowed locals to drop off their donations to support the community.
