What we’ve been watching on Disney+ (from the Lit Fibre team to you)

All-time favourites and new gems, recommended by the Lit team. After a long day, sometimes all you want is to curl up, hit play, and not have to think too hard about what to choose. But we all know the endless scroll is real – especially when you're trying to find something the whole household agrees on.

So, we made it easy. We asked the Lit Fibre team what they’ve actually been watching on Disney+ – from all-time classics we keep going back to, to some of the new releases that surprised us in the best way. Here are the ones we’d happily recommend, whether you’re flying solo or settling in with the whole family. Here’s what made the cut.

Captain America: Brave New World

Sam Wilson’s first full outing as Cap doesn’t disappoint. It’s bold, grounded, and brings a fresh take to the shield – with real heart behind the action. Big fight scenes? Yep. Big feelings? Also yes. One of those that leaves you quietly impressed... and maybe Googling when the next one’s out.

Ocean with David Attenborough

Perfect for winding down. It’s so smoothing, beautifully filmed, and somehow manages to feel epic and intimate at the same time.

Gifted

One of those quietly brilliant films that flew under the radar. It’s heartfelt, smart, and full of moments that stay with you. If you’re in the mood for a proper story with characters you’ll care about, this one’s worth your time.

Lilo & Stitch

Sometimes you just need a classic. And this one still hits. It’s chaotic in the best way, full of heart, and gives us that nostalgic feeling without feeling dated. Plus, Stitch is iconic – let’s not pretend otherwise.

Eyes of Wakanda

A deeper dive into the Black Panther universe? Yes, please. This animated series expands the world of Wakanda in the coolest way – with rich visuals, powerful storytelling, and enough new lore to keep Marvel fans buzzing.

Mufasa: The Lion King

This one’s for everyone who watched The Lion King as a kid (and maybe cried just a little). Mufasa tells the story before the story – it’s emotional, epic, and packed with that signature Disney magic.

Got a favourite you think we’ve missed? Tell us what you’ve been watching – we’re always up for recommendations!

And if you want to stream your favourites without the dreaded buffering wheel ruining the moment, make sure you’re getting the best of full fibre. Lightning-fast speeds, no mid-contract price hikes, and streaming that just works – even when the whole house is online.
