We seek an Events and Community Engagement Coordinator to join our fast-growing team. This is a brand-new role, allowing the person to really drive and own events, sponsorship opportunities and community engagement within our towns.

We need someone enthusiastic about identifying and managing events, someone who can work in our communities to identify sponsorship opportunities that will support our growth and raise awareness of our brand. You will also support our sales team in identifying potential customers and registering interest. Although this is not a direct sales role, the ultimate objective of this role is to drive brand awareness and growth.

What does the role involve?

  • Identify opportunities for impactful events which raises brand awareness and signposts people to access, register and sign up to Lit Fibre.

  • Plan and execute events and activity within your region.

  • Foster relationships with organisations that can support growth, these can be potential advocates, direct business partners, sponsorship, or customers.

  • Represent Lit Fibre at events and identify opportunities to raise awareness in our towns (present and future).

  • Work closely with the Sales, Marketing and Customer Support teams to ensure messaging is aligned across channels.

  • Support sales to nurture prospective customers who have registered interest

  • Feedback any concerns/opportunities within our towns.

  • Build authentic and professional relationships with key stakeholders within our roll-out towns.

We’re looking for people with the following skills:

  • Demonstrable ability to identify and manage impactful events.

  • Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure to ensure the efficient running of an event

  • Experience of increasing brand awareness and engagement pipeline through events and sponsorship

  • Experience of managing social media activity and campaigns

  • Experience using Salesforce and QuickSight is desired but not essential

***This role will involve travelling to and from our towns, as well as our office in Reading. Due to the nature of events, flexible working outside normal office hours as and when required, including some evenings and weekends is expected.***
