We seek a Digital Product Owner who will be responsible for driving and championing the digital aspect to our business. This is a brand new role and critical to ensuring the effective design, implementation and delivery of our digital strategy whilst meeting the needs of the business, ultimately creating a top-class customer experience.

The person in this role will be pivotal in leading on every aspect of our website, this being the digital product, acting as a conduit between all business areas to ensure their needs and requirements and driven and fulfilled. The Digital Product Owner will act as the subject matter expert and be able to make a real impact in this role, having a voice to influence the way in which we market to our customers.

The key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Own the product vision and key objectives for our website ensuring this aligns to the overall business goals.

  • Be an online digital platform focal point of contact for the business, work with cross functional teams and wider stakeholders to define User Stories for delivery into the product backlog.

  • Maintain the capability and optimisation roadmap broken down into phases (Epics and Stories), tracked against agreed KPIs from inception through to completion.

  • Inform stakeholders across the business of delivery commitment and progress of their User Stories and manage expectations.

We’re looking for the following skills:

  • Experience working as a Digital Product Owner in an agile environment.

  • Great presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Evidence of use of customer insight, able to make data-informed decisions

  • Strong understanding of back-end and front-end impacts.

  • Focus on excellent digital customer experience.

  • Sound knowledge of UX principles

  • Strong understanding of the digital ecosystem, website design, content types, mobile and tablet applications, web technologies and digital marketing best practices.

  • Evidence of strong analytical skills to measure impact and identity trends.
