Our culture
Back in 2020 our co-founders Tom and Ben had an idea. They wanted to offer the best full-fibre internet service in the UK - and they wanted to build a special company to make it happen. Exceptional internet and an exceptionally high-performance company culture. Simple.
Having worked for the UK's biggest telecoms companies, they had experienced where some businesses get culture wrong. Defining what culture should be and then forcing employees to behave in a certain way simply doesn't work. Where there's no buy-in, people stop turning up - mentally and physically.
We know that you can quickly spot a company that has a genuine culture. Their people thrive and grow. They learn - and they're not afraid to speak up when mistakes are made. They are engaged, passionate and motivated, working together as one team towards a common goal. Everyone has their role to play and everyone can be successful.
Whilst they aren't perfect, Tom and Ben make a commitment to every employee that joins Lit Fibre to behave in line with the values and principles of the organisation they've created.
