Lit Fibre announce Cirencester & Bishop’s Stortford for Full-Fibre rollout

Lit Fibre has today announced that it is in advanced stages of its full-fibre broadband services deployment in Cirencester and Bishop’s Stortford, providing residents access to 1 Gigabit download and upload speeds.

Work to install the new 10Gb capable fibre infrastructure is well underway, with services expected to start going live in late 2021.

This follows from Lit Fibre’s deployment of services in Chippenham, with customers already online in the Monkton Park area of Chippenham from June, and the remainder of the town to go live over the coming months.

Once the service is live, residents will be able to boost their current broadband speeds to 100Mbps, 500Mbps or 1Gbps. All packages offer equally fast download and upload speeds, crucial for those working from home or with bandwidth hungry households. The latest Wi-Fi 6 routers are included in the service to provide strong Wi-Fi service within the home.

Tom Williams, CEO Lit Fibre, said: “We’re really pleased to announce our deployment in Bishop’s Stortford and Cirencester. We’ve focused on accelerating our deployment teams so that we can bring better broadband to more homes that desperately need upgrading to full-fibre. There is such a reliance on good connectivity in the home now, that we’re seeing high levels of demand for these services.

Our experienced team know the importance of delivering a high quality, reliable and consistent network, and now we’re well underway in two more towns, we’re building a network that can improve the experience for many more people.”
