Following on from their announcement on 29th September that Lit Fibre was planning on starting to deploy its 10Gb capable network in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, the company has confirmed that it has completed the first phase of the installation of its gigabit fibre network.
Residents living within this area can now order their full-fibre broadband service. Lit Fibre offers a choice of symmetrical 100Mb, 500Mb or 1Gb packages. Lit Fibre’s 10Gb capable network delivers a much more reliable and consistent service than the old copper based network, bringing the best broadband infrastructure available anywhere in the world to the residents of Cirencester. Introductory prices start from just £28 a month for Lit100 and are subject to a minimum 12 month period.
Residents of Cirencester can check availability and order via litfibre.com. Lit fibre is in the midst of rolling out across the town, which will continue into 2022. Residents can keep up to date with the progress by registering interest via litfibre.com.
Cirencester in Gloucestershire is the third town to be announced by Lit Fibre, along with Bishop’s Stortford (announced 29th Sept, and now live)and Chippenham, which went live in July and where the rollout is expected to complete in March 2022.
In addition to today’s news, Lit Fibre has also announced that it has started the installation of its 10Gb capable network in Evesham, Worcestershire and expects to connect the first homes in the town before the end of 2021. Evesham is the fifth town to be announced as part of Lit Fibre’s deployment plan and means the company is actively rolling its network out to over 100,000 homes a year after the company launched, making an impressive start towards achieving its goal of 500,000 homes by 2026.
